“With Next Level Racing simulator products, I can eliminate costs like entry fees and fuel and get some practice laps on any track, at any time. This is a huge asset to my race training because it will allow me to prepare for upcoming races at any given time.  There’s no better place than behind the wheel of a race car and with my NLR GTtrack set up I can strap in any time I want!”

Gold Coast, Australia — Next Level Racing is proud and excited to announce that SCCA Trans Am Series Driver Michele Abbate is joining the team as a Global Partner. Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, Michele is a 3x US Road Racing Champion and the only woman in the nation racing in the TA2 category.

Although I had I always wanted to race, I wasn’t ever given the opportunity.  When I turned 16, I started taking my car to the local autocross events where I finally got my first taste of driving.  Since then, I’ve never stopped chasing my dream of becoming a professional race car driver.”

Michele decided to take her dream of being a professional driver into her own hands by becoming a team owner in 2016, eventually making her professional debut in 2019. Now that she’s living her dream, she’s looking to keep the positive momentum rolling. And to do that, Michele knows she needs to maximise her practice and training with the help of a top-of-the-line racing simulator, which is why she decided to join the Next Level Racing Team.

“I wanted to take my driver development program to the next level, and after doing my research, there was no doubt in my mind that Next Level Racing provides the best products for the racing simulator that I was lacking.”

Michele knows that it takes special, high-quality driving and racing simulators products to mimic the road. For her, it’s clear that Next Level Racing is the company that can provide those products. But what is Michele’s favourite Next Level Racing Product?

My favorite NLR product is the GTtrack Cockpit because it provides me with everything I need to make me feel like I am racing in my tube chassis V8 road race TA2 race car.  With the compatibility for a direct drive wheel stand and professional pedal set I’m easily equipped with everything I need.”

Michele is working hard to win the Trans Am Series TA2 Championship. She also wants to make her debut in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series at Sonoma by 2021. She knows her path isn’t the typical one, but she wakes up everyday knowing that she’s living her dreams.

“My story is a little different from everyone else’s – I’ve had to claw my way to where I am today as a professional race car driver and team owner I have learned so much from this sport and I look forward to absorbing as much as I can.”
