What got you into racing?
Until I was 11 I was convinced that I was going to be a pilot. My grandpa and dad have also been into cars and specifically F1 and when I was 12 I went to the Grand Prix for the first time. From then I was hooked on F1. I kept begging to get into a kart and my dad finally gave in when I was 14. I raced karts through covid until I was 16. At the start of 2022 I tested a formula ford and by May I completed my first race. In 2024 I won the Australian championship and this year I’m competing in USF2000.
What is the your goal for the next 2 years?
In USF2000 it would be awesome to compete for the championship and win races. By the end of the season I will either make a decision on whether to move up to USF Pro 2000 or compete in USF2000 again for 2026. By the end of 2026 I hope to have won at least one championship in the USF Pro Championships ladder.
What is your favourite race track to race on?
Over my 3 years racing cars I have been lucky enough to race on some of the best tracks in North America and Australia. Some of my favourites are Road America, Road Atlanta, GP St Pete, Phillip Island and Sydney Motorsport park. My absolute favourite that has no competition is Bathurst.
How is simulation helping your training?
Nothing can keep you sharp and ready to race like a simulator can. On most platforms it's great to race against hard competition that also keeps you thinking on how to go faster and concentrate over a race distance. The simulator itself is great for building muscle memory and depending on how hard you set the equipment it can be a workout. But the main benefits of a home simulator is definitely its ability to keep you ready to hop in any car at any time.
