BRISBANE, Australia — Motorsport Australia, in collaboration with its distinguished partners Next Level Racing®, Queensland University of Technology (QUT), and the Queensland Government, is proud to announce the inaugural Queensland Esports State Championship 2023.
Set to be a landmark event in the world of virtualmotorsport, the championship invites twelve finalists from across Queensland to battle it out for the fastest on Saturday 12 August. Whether you’re a passionate motorsports fan or simply love the excitement of esports, this event is not to be missed!
The fastest competitors, ranging in age from teenagers through to adults, have been drawn from across traditional motorsport racing, Esports, university sport, and Next Level Racing’s sim racing network.
They will meet face-to-face Saturday – to compete for glory, prizes, and the title of champion – via knock-out rounds, racing the Mount Panorama circuit on Next Level Racing’s world-leading racing simulators.
Professional race commentators will unpack exciting action live, from 4-6 PM, before a crowd at QUT’s stunning Room Three Sixty, offering guests spectacular panoramic views of the city. The public is welcome to join the fun!
