Next Level Racing®, a global leader in simulation hardware, today announces the Next Level Racing® F-GT Shift Formula and GT Racing Cockpit, a next-generation convertible racing cockpit designed to give racers the freedom to move between Formula and GT racing positions in seconds.
At the heart of the F-GT Shift is its patent-pending Quick Fold Mechanism, allowing racers to transition from an upright GT position to a low-slung Formula position in under five seconds, completely tool-free. A Hybrid position adds further versatility, creating a single cockpit capable of adapting across Formula, GT, endurance and road-car racing.
Tool-free adjustment across the pedal plate, rear leg, seat backrest, wheel plate tube height and front wheel plate allows racers to quickly refine their driving position around different disciplines and preferences.
Built as a serious platform for modern sim racing hardware, the F-GT Shift combines reinforced tubular steel construction, bespoke cast-metal hinges and rigid connections to support Direct Drive wheelbases, high-performance pedals and dedicated shifter setups. Compatibility across leading sim racing ecosystems gives racers the freedom to build around their preferred hardware and upgrade over time.
The premium reclining SIMAERO Mesh seat combines breathable materials with suspended mesh construction for longer racing sessions, while integrated compatibility with the HF8 and HF8 Pro Haptic Feedback Gaming Pads allows tactile feedback to sit beneath the seat fabric for a clean and immersive setup. A heavy-duty shifter arm is also included and can be mounted on either side of the cockpit.
